10/11/2019 0 Comments AEF Grant Winners AnnouncedThe AEF Board of Directors met on Wednesday, October 9th to choose Grant Winners for the 2019-2020 school year. After a year off of fundraising we were excited to see so many grant applications. It is never an easy choice to not be able to do all the exciting things teachers would like to for our students. We look forward to seeing and hearing more about the grants that were awarded.

We are excited to announce a couple of fundraising events for the 2019-2020 school year. Starting off we have our first Board Meeting on Wednesday, Sept 16th, 7pm at Town Hall (room tba). Any parent is welcome to join our meetings and we look forward to your input.
Our first fundraiser is our Parents Night Out on Sept 28th at Players Sports Bar in Rockland. This is a super fun night to catch up with other parents and make new connections. Book your babysitters for this fun night out. Raffle Prizes, Cash Bar and Food with paid admission. We are always looking for donations for raffle prizes. All donations are tax deductible. 4/23/2019 0 Comments Grant Applications Live May 1stThe AEF board has been working hard and the new Grant Application is almost ready to go Live! Our target date is May 1st. A few changes from years past. The application will be able to be filled in online and submitted through the AEF email. Applications will be due Oct 1, 2019 (you have all summer to dream of enrichment for our students!). During our October meeting the board will decide which grants will be awarded and notify grantees. Grantees will then be disbursed and will have until the next years Grant deadline, Oct 1, 2020 to complete their enrichment.
We can't wait to see what our teachers have planned for our students! Get creative and please feel free to direct any questions to any AEF board member. 4/24/19 Admin 2/27/2019 1 Comment Coming Soon...The AEF board will be meeting on March 13 to work on a new application process for teachers to apply for grants. We are very excited about streamlining this process and our students having new opportunities for learning from our awesome teachers. Admin.AEF finally has a new website! Along with using social media tools Facebook and Twitter we have a new website to help spread information about the Abington Education Foundation. We hope to be able to sell tickets to upcoming events, provide more information for parents and teachers about how to apply for funding (and an online application) and share how funding was used. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated as this is an ongoing work in progress by volunteers. Archives
